Unit can learn to work with more than one remote
I ordered two of these. Each one comes with its own remote, and each remote operates only its own relay box. However, if switch S1 on the relay box is pressed, it will add the code of the next compatible remote to be used, to its memory. This means that one or both relay boxes can be set to work with both remotes. To make the relay box forget all remotes, hold switch S1 down for 10 sec., until the blue LED starts blinking. Current consumption with all four relays energized is about 150mA. The remote has a telescoping antenna, however I found it works well without needing to pull it out. My only complaint is about the type 23A 12V remote battery. It is hard to find, and it is also difficult to insert it in the remote battery holder. The remote does work with a battery supply as low as 2.9V, though I did not check for range.
